TheBeastWeFeed

(This page is, like everything in this project, highly incomplete and generally subject to change).

Who are you?

Hi! I'm Azamina Jyl Desigio. I wrote (or rather, I'm currently writing) TheBeastWeFeed, an English web series heavily inspired by Murder Drones and ULTRAKILL.

I am a Math and Physics major, an amateur programmer and linguist, a small-time author, a Yu-Gi-Oh! player, and much more.

If you would like to contact me (about TheBeastWeFeed, or anything else), please join the dedicated TheBeastWeFeed Discord Server. I don't bite, I swear!

I discuss more about why I made TheBeastWeFeed at the bottom of this page.

What is this?

TheBeastWeFeed is a sci-fi mystery web series.

It is about militarized robots, their relationship with their creators, and survival despite harsh circumstances.

It is about history, and the guilt and memories that come with it.

It is not intended to be a horror experience, and I did not write it with the intention of it being scary or unsettling.

It is composed of prose chapters, in-universe documents and blueprints, and much more, and is intended to be read in a nonlinear fashion.

It is currently highly incomplete. (Join the Discord to check when the page was most recently updated, and to be informed when new updates are released).

How do I read it?

Click the "Home" button at the top or bottom of this page to be brought to the prologue. It is the root of the story.

The story is primarily told through a linear set of prose chapters, with the link to the next chapter at the bottom of the current one. However, throughout each page, links can take you to other, optional branches of the story, which may reveal more of the mystery. The story is intended to be written so that you can enjoy as many or as few of these optional pages as you would like.

There is no navigation. If you wish to explore, you must start from the prologue. I make no guarantees that bookmarks will not break as the story gets updated. It may be in your best interests to open links in new tabs for ease of navigation.

Where should I go if I have feedback?

I highly recommend joining the Discord server, linked earlier. From there, feel free to DM me if you have feedback. In particular, one piece of feedback I care most about is the tone: I mentioned earlier that this isn't intended to be a horror piece, so if you feel that I could improve the tone of a particular page or section, please let me know.

I would love to grow a community around TheBeastWeFeed. If I do manage to build a community, I may invite active members to become involved in the project proper.

Why did you make this?

I made TheBeastWeFeed because I was highly inspired after I finished watching Murder Drones.

I had many plans, like making a fanfiction, or even a fangame. But, after a lot of time for ideas to simmer in my mind, I ended up with this instead: a story that was heavily inspired by the setting of the show but was otherwise its own thing.

I had realized that the story I wanted to tell wasn't really similar in theming or tone to the story that Murder Drones had made, and decided to tell the story I wanted to tell.

(I have plans to write more about this in future iterations of this page, but for now, I feel this is sufficient).
